We go back 3 generations, when our grandmother, after having gained experience and studied the craft of chocolate in the emblematic Pere Mauri Sweet Factory , decided to open the doors of a workshop specialized in chocolates in the Sants neighborhood of Barcelona, ​​with decorated by hand in the purest artisanal style. It is from this moment that Bombonería Pons was born in 1960.

Family business

Juan Ramón Pons began by distributing the chocolates that were made to various pastry shops in the city. Shortly after, together with his wife, Maribel, they decided to open the first retail store attached to the Sants workshop. Years later, thanks to the collaboration of the symbolic company of Caramelos Virginias de Reus, Bombonería Pons was modernized to face the new times.

Now more than ever, the third generation of expert artisans deploys their know-how as a manufacturer of high-end chocolates. They reinvent the products most acclaimed by customers and offer a wide and exquisite selection of chocolates, nougats and Easter cakes.
